Amazon Sold-Out Product Monitoring & Subscription Platform

Project Overview

A subscription-based SaaS platform built to identify and monitor sold-out and out-of-stock products on Amazon across multiple categories. The system was designed to run continuously and reliably, providing customers with actionable data on unavailable products for competitive and sourcing insights. The platform leverages the Amazon MWS API to collect inventory availability data while strictly adhering to Amazon’s throttling and rate-limit constraints. To improve accuracy and coverage, this data is cross-validated against a custom-built web scraping engine developed specifically for the client. Both data collection pipelines run on an hourly schedule, ensuring near real-time updates without violating Amazon policies. Stripe was integrated to power recurring subscriptions, allowing customers to subscribe on monthly or annual plans. Subscription status, billing cycles, and transaction details are automatically synchronized with the backend. Users can manage, pause, or cancel their subscriptions at any time, with changes reflected immediately in system access and billing.
